Founder & producer · 2018–19 inaugural season

Broadway Olympia

Launching a theater. Building its audience.

Kyle founded and produced Broadway Olympia, starting without a season-ticket base or an established production history. The first season brought audiences to six productions.

The work behind the result

Marketing a new organization from the start.

Each production needed an audience while the organization was still establishing its name. Kyle used social media and local promotion to introduce the shows and attract ticket buyers throughout the inaugural season.

Ticket income supported the first season.

The season received no donations or grants. The first three productions were profitable; the $171,000 total represents gross ticket sales across all six productions, not season profit.

COVID interrupted the next phase. Broadway Olympia later continued with a greater focus on community theater.
